At Lab Gear Supply, we strive to provide a seamless and transparent shipping experience for all our customers. This shipping policy outlines how we handle shipping for orders placed on labgearsupply.com. Please review this information carefully before placing your order.

1. Shipping Costs and Carriers

  • Most shipping costs are calculated based on the dimensions, weight, and destination of your order. We provide an estimated shipping cost at checkout, which reflects our commercial discounted rates with carriers like UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
  • We do not charge additional shipping, handling, or box fees beyond the carrier rates. We also cover insurance on all shipments to protect against unforeseen circumstances during transit.

2. Discrete Packaging

  • To protect your privacy and the value of the contents, all orders are shipped in unmarked packaging. Items are packed in blank brown boxes, carrier boxes (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS), or covered boxes. For pallet-sized orders shipped via freight (if requested), the shipment is wrapped in black plastic to conceal the contents.
  • The shipping label will list the sender as “LGS Shipping Department.”

3. Shipping Schedule

  • Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2-3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. UPS and FedEx pick up and deliver Monday through Friday, while USPS picks up and delivers Monday through Saturday (excluding certain holidays).
  • Delivery times vary based on the destination and carrier. We are not responsible for delays due to customs, carrier issues, weather, or other factors beyond our control.

4. Risk of Loss and Inspection

  • Risk of Loss: Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. You are responsible for filing claims with the carrier for lost or damaged shipments.
  • Inspection Period: We recommend inspecting your package upon arrival. You have 7 calendar days from the delivery date to report missing, damaged, or broken items. Please contact us at support@labgearsupply.com or (503) 263-3330 to report any issues.
  • Missing Items: Any claims of missing items must be confirmed by our shipping system, as we photograph the contents of each box prior to shipping. This ensures accuracy and helps resolve discrepancies quickly.
  • Damaged or Broken Items: Damaged or broken items must be reported within 7 days of package receipt to qualify for replacement or credit. If a product is broken or defective and qualifies for a return, Lab Gear Supply reserves the right, at its discretion, to either issue a credit or replace the product with another of equal value that is similar in function.
  • Freight Shipments: For freight shipments, you must inspect the shipment at the time of delivery for any visible shipping damage or missing items. If damage or missing items are found, notify the driver immediately and document the issues for an insurance claim. Failure to inspect and report at the time of delivery may result in the insurance not covering the shipment, and Lab Gear Supply will not be responsible for unreported damages or losses.

5. International Shipping

  • We ship internationally, but free shipping (if offered) does not apply to international orders. Shipping charges estimated at checkout represent carrier charges only.
  • Lab Gear Supply is not responsible for any duties, tariffs, taxes, or other fees imposed by your country on international orders. These costs are your sole responsibility, and we recommend researching your local regulations before ordering.
  • We will not return or refund orders that are refused by you or by your government due to non-compliance with local policies, customs regulations, or any other reason. By placing an international order, you accept full liability for adhering to your local policies, and any associated risks or costs are yours alone.
  • Lab Gear Supply is located in the United States. Any customer ordering goods to be shipped to another country is considered an Importer and should research applicable charges.
